Counselling Services

Healing looks different for everyone. My role as your counsellor is to create a safe, supportive, and culturally grounded space where you can explore your story, strengthen your voice, and find new ways of moving forward.

I offer counselling for children, youth, adults, and families, both in person and online.

✨ Individual Counselling

A confidential space to work through life challenges, trauma, stress, grief, or personal growth. Together, we will explore your story, your strengths, and your goals for change.

✨ Children & Youth

Young people carry unique strengths and challenges. I provide a safe and supportive environment where children and youth can express themselves, build resilience, and develop healthy coping strategies. I integrate trauma-informed practice, narrative approaches, and Indigenous teachings to meet each young person where they are.

✨ Families

Family life can bring both connection and conflict. I work with families to strengthen communication, navigate challenges, and support healthier relationships. My approach is collaborative and respectful, with attention to culture, intergenerational experiences, and the realities of parenting today.

✨ Trauma & Healing

Trauma affects the mind, body, and spirit. I use a trauma-informed, polyvagal, and client-centred approach to create safety and stability. Healing is possible when we understand how our nervous system responds to stress and when we honour the resilience already within us.

✨ Indigenous-Centred Approaches

As a Cree woman, I recognize the impacts of colonization and the importance of culture in healing. I weave Indigenous ways of knowing into my practice, supporting reconnection to land, language, and community teachings as part of the journey.

Why Culture Matters

Research and practice show that a strong sense of Indigenous identity is a protective factor when experiencing racism, trauma, and systemic barriers. For many of my clients, reconnecting with cultural teachings becomes part of their healing journey.
But I also know that not everyone has had that opportunity. Some, like children raised in foster care, may not have been given the chance to learn what being proud of their identity means. Counselling can be a place to gently explore and reconnect with those roots, in a way that feels safe and respectful.
